The Talanoa Dialogue, initiated at the COP23 climate negotiations in Bonn, under Fiji’s presidency, invite structured constructive input from stakeholders to inform negotiations among 195 nations to envision locally rooted, globally connected actions that will bring about that more sustainable relationship between human activity and Earth’s climate system.
The Talanoa Dialogue requests testimony focused on three guiding questions:
- Where are we?
- Where do we want to go?
- How do we get there?
Our Talanoa Dialogue Engagement Toolkit outlines strategies for hosting local stakeholder meetings to craft submissions to the global talks.
